The Minilab Mk2 is equipped with a standard midi remote script in Ableton Live, so you just need to connect it (see instructions below) to get it working. I also tested the controller with Ableton Live Lite (which comes with it) and it works straight away, along with the Analog Lab software too. When I press certain keys it suddenly sends logic to switch between various screen sets and I can only stop this by closing Logic down. For beginners and seasoned users alike, Ableton User Groups are open to any Live user who wants to share their knowledge and learn from others in person. The only part of the midi controller that's producing any sound is the drum pads. My current control surface control setup is Mackie Control I've followed several installation and set up tips from this forum but still can't seem to get it to work properly. I've recently got Logic Pro X and an Arturia Minilab MKII USB midi controller and I seem to be having issues in logic registering any sound from the controller. This is where you may need to spend time creating your own custom templates so you can do what you need but that will be hard if you do not understand how MIDI works.I'm hoping I could potentially get some help here. The issues you could be having could be that each preset may not be on a different channel or the controls within each preset are not a different CC value etc so even switching presets your controls remain the same channel/CC so will not be unique to that preset. You need to understand how MIDI channels, CC, Note data all works before you can really start to map things to different templates. MIDI is a very simple and logical protocol so if it does not appear that way to you, then you will struggle with how you are wanting things to work. I can't help with the MINI Lab because I don't own one but I would suggest you really need to start at the very bottom and discover how MIDI itself works.
